There is a TCP/IP utility provided by the game, but people don't use it often it seems.

You should have a doc about it in the docs folder of the game.

The forum for questions and support is here

Which is moderated by Celtic, but he is sick these days, so be patient if you don't get answers asap :)

im lookin to buy a good napolean type game, i was gonna buy EIA but it doesnt support tcp at all and games would take at least 1 YEAR to complete which is way to slow for me.

i dont see any MP forum here do most people play SP? and why doesnt anyone use the tcp function?
if i was to buy this game and start a pbem game how many turns do players get a through roughly in a week and how long do games take to be completed?

Well let's gives things a chance.

The game does have a small learning curve. Who wants to play against someone when they're not all the way up to speed with playing competently? The way I see it, the player that is the most prepared and wise will win. (Just like real life, I suppose.)

My most recent PBEM games were designed for me to learn NC. Having some time available to do a TCP/IP game is even bigger.

I'd offer a MP game, but I don't any time available until maybe mid March.

Approximatively 30% of the players of our games play MP, all by PBEM it seems, because the game is a 1 vs 1 game, with simultaneous turns, so it is smooth to play against a buddy.

the forum you seek is here:

if you want to try playing by TCP/IP you are welcome though, an external utility was made for Napoleon Campaigns, it is called Ares. Our developer Celtic can help you in case of problems.

Given the availability of players, you should find someone able to play one turn every day, so this means one month to complete the Russian Campaign.
