Redeployments in PBEM games

Is it possible to have just one redeployment a turn, in a PBEM game for each player? In the options menu, it says 1 for the player and 3 for the AI. Does this mean my opponent will get 3 redeployment and I 1, if I am hosting the game? Or should I just look at the numbers for the player?
