Spanish Campaign

I have been playing, and immensely ejoying, the Spanish Campaign. Down the road I think consideration should be given to producing year long scenarios regarding the Peninsular War. The Campaign is fun, but I think its length might be daunting for gamers seeking to simply play a scenario for an evening or two. For owners of the game who haven't yet played the Spanish Campaign, I heartily encourage them to give it a try. I don't think the other scenarios give the full flavor of the game system that the Spanish campaign does.

Don,

Why not write an AAR on the Spanish campaign? It would be a great way to highlight the items you mentioned.

I might try to do that, my court schedule permitting.

French timetable incorrect

In the game, Napoleon and the Grande Armee arrive in May 1808, which is hisorically incorrect - historically, they actually don't arrive until October, which gives the Spanish and British time to drive the French out of Spain and Portugal. As it is in the game, the coalition gets wiped out pretty fast.

This has already been corrected in a patch (or it will be in the next one where some more fixes are included).

Playing as the Coalition I have been able to hang on in Portugal and in Andalusia, Catalonia, Asturias and Galicia. I imagine that an AI Coalition player would not be able to do so.
