Trotter has been around wargaming for decades as have I. I think his exuberant, and lengthy, reaction will be typical of most wargamers once they are aware that these ageod games exist. For traditional board wargamers they are literally a dream come true.

I think Trotter is sliping into senility, but he still knows a good wargame when he plays one. ;)

I gave up reading his rant after about 8 pages and still no mention of the actual game. Around my friends I am known as the babbler and tangent maker. But I got nothing on this guy. In his defense I will say he has nice prose he just lacks any focus.

Anyone have the bridge notes from this thing? :P

I read it in its entirety, and it's a good laugh ! :D

The review is very positive to the game. :)

You read it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surely you have better things to do - like playing AACW or NAP

I did try and the bits that I skimmed through sounded positive but seriously, who writes a review that long

Ironically, it is only called a preview; who knows how long the actual review will be? :)

Trotter said he had only 3 hours of sleep in 3 days; perhaps some stimulants were in effect....
