Hi

in the Peninsular Campaign how are Leader shifts to other theaters handled? For example do you have Napoleon or Ney the whole time under your command in Spain or are they moved to other theaters sometimes?

This is handled by events... the key leaders will come in and out according to history and some other factors...

Examples: Napoleon shows up in 1808 after the Erfurt treaty, but usually leaves in 1809 to fight Austria... Berthier goes with him, Bessières back and forth with the Guard units, others like Wellesley, Moore, Marmont, Soult, Jourdan and so on according to nominations, events, etc...

Secondary leaders will join regularly every year in batches, also dealt with by events...
