Superbe !

Excellent! Keep rolling out the screens as often as possible. I figure by the time the game is released, my anticipation will be at a fever pitch.

I like the unit pictures but ... I am not so sure about the heavy black outline on each figure. (It reminds me a bit of the outlines in the old Great Battles of Alexander game.) I would be interested how they would look without the outline.
ps - What type of unit is the cavalry guy with the bright red hat?

Remember these images will be smaller (or rather like the graphics on the right side of that image) within the game itself, I expect you won't notice those black borders.
Concerning the head, looks like some Russian cavalry, probably Cossacks (though the cavalry to the left of that unit certainly is a Cossack).

Beautiful map and excellent units. I am truly anticipating this game (can I pre-order it ?

)
But I do have a minor quibble: The city by the Tagus river right in the
center of Portugal could not be Lisbon, could it ??

Most important cities (Paris, London, Lisbone, etc). will be added through specific sprite (just like AACW and BoA)

If i am not mistaken this will be the biggest AGEOD game yet! That is a huge map, i hope(hint, hint) you will put a "cycle units" button into the interface...preferably with an option to select units which haven't moved or better yet giving the player the option to deselect unit/s from the cycle

.

Those functions are in AACW, so I imagine they will be in NC. I agree, BOA and AACW are great games, but NC should really be something mind blowing. It is my favorite period of military history.

Yeah, and I haven't even gotten around to BOA yet after being immersed in AACW...looks like you've got me hooked for quite some time.

I really like the look of the game so far. I already know I will like the engine and gameply, since I have bought your previous games. This is my favorite period of military history. I think I am in Nirvana.

Impressive game art; seems that AGEod's knack for matching "look" with era will continue (and then some!) in Napoleon's Campaigns

Hi!!
The leaders protraits look awesome.
And his style recreates wondefully the art of the times (David, Ingres... ). Superb work!! Congrats!!
I also love the new style of the units, with the golden frame that "pins" on the map. Looks very nice!!
About the zoomed in map. Its nice but i miss the hand drawn style of the previous games. It realy set apart BoA and AACW style from the rest of games, by not triyng to look realistic but beautyful.
BoA map is my favorite.
The new one looks nice, but not very original. And the clear terrain maybe looks too empty...
Are the designs deffinitive??
On the good side (very good indeed), looking and the zoomed up map, it seems there are many more provinces than the ones you could be seen on the big map.
Tats great news, becouse I was a little worriend there was going to be too few provinces to make good operational maneuovres like on AACW
I´m gona love this game!!
Thanks for the new screens!!
Keep up the good work!!

Very nice!
Outstanding portraits!
BTW, I hope you guys take the opportunity, in some way, to make the game not only a pleasurable gaming experience but a learning one as well. Lots of folks are put-off by the complexity of the era. Perhaps you folks could do something about that.
A glossary of terms perhaps, might be appropriate, or a tutorial about army building and the importance of the different troop types.
This game could be an outstanding way to help lots of young gamers get a better grip on this fascinating era.

Is that Constantine between Gouvion-St Cyr and Alexander? If so you could you please have some mercy and redo that poor fellow (maybe closer to his brother Alexander as they seem to have had a great similarity, just one was Czar and no one'd dare portray him badly and the other was a not so popular general...).
But great work otherwise, what am I saying, excellent work.

In terms of PC specs, does the new game need more "machine" than ACW or similar?

LAVA:
I'm not an active member of this Beta Team but I've been following their work and I can tell you the amount of work and knowledge they have been putting together for the campaigns is awesome and should satisfy the most exigent grognards. However, you stress an excellent point. One aspect I prefer in AACW is the atmosphere. IMHO, two key points is achieving it were the manual and its historical annexes + the series of events. I did not have a look on this aspect yet, but knowing Philippe Thibault I'm sure he is already cooking us something really nice. He has never disappointed me on this since Europa Universalis.
Donegal:
For PC specs. Good question. Actually, Pocus has not bought a new computer yet (buy more games please!) so the specs should be the same. Pocus and Celtic plan to optimize the code and update the graphic engine, but I'm really not sure it will make it for Q4 2007.
