hi,

i understand that arty units at corp level (not part of a div) give a combat to the whole corps. does the same apply to special units such as engineers?

for example, if a engineer unit is part of a division does it only give that division a bonus durin a siege?

Great question.
It is better to use the engineer with a leader who will likely be more active. This is the same with artillery. Division units and capabilities typically extend to all corps qualities.
Because corps leaders are more typically active, use at the corp level means more use. But, no matter where the engineer unit is assigned, if active, will contribute to the siege.
