Greetings, gentlemen.

Knowing about a discount now working in GamersGate, I went there to buy Napoleon's Campaigns... until I saw the word "SECUROM" in it. Asked Paradox, but no one answers. Is that true?

Many thanks.

Hello, I'm new here :)

Securom could mean a lot of different things. Even a simple CD Check could be labeled "Securom".
I just bought napoleon's campaigns from gamersgate, and the DRM is not different from the one on the UK boxed versions of WIA and AACW (which I also have): just enter the serial key once and you're done

The SECUROM system is based on trying to always check that you have your CD/DVD on your drive everytime you play the game (an oversimplification of the system, but you get the idea ;) )... that's hardly posible when buying a digital download game from GG, since you have no CD/DVD. ;)
So, no, I don't think Securom is enabled on the GG version of the game.
Like other people have said, it is just the usual serial key protection.

Tecnocrata is probably trying to get the discount on GG because of the Paradox's celebration. ;)
