Grand Campaign

Hey folks,
I'm new to the forum and have been looking around most of the day. I saw that there was a post a while back about the Grand Campaign possibility around the summer of 09. Is that still the timetable? Has there been any kind of mod to give us a grand campaign? Thanks

Marcus

This was an old request, but who is going to join some scenarios? Is there a beta or improvement team active?

Well is there a plan for a NC 2 that will have this option?
Thanks
Marcus

Yes, for sure NC2 will have one...we need to finalize the current diplomatic engine and we're all set for it ;)

Great!! A Napoleonic game with AACW campaign would break all boundaries!!!

What is the timeline for release of NC2 then? Is this close to release or are we talking next year? Thanks

Hi
I don't think NC2 has any timeline yet.
It's just a project that could (and i hope would) get done after the incoming Victorian age game (Vainglory of Nations) is released (around end 2009??).
SO if NC2 gets finally done it woudl be at the very least 1 year in the future. And probably more like two ;)

Cheers
PS: i'm not an AGEOD team member, so all my predictions are 100% unofficial and probably wrong. :)

Ok, Ok. Believe me this is a news, it is like a stalemate declaration.

However it is a bit like disappointing, if I refer to the last PhilThib's answer.
I thought, as a new inexperienced member, naive, you were more dynamical.

But, OK, OK I am used to be disappointed, although allways full of hope ... before beeing disappointed.

Goodbye :( ,

 I don't get it . What is disappointing??
They said they have a NCP2 in their future plans :coeurs: but not sooner than 1 or more probably 2 years. Not tomorrow.
They are already developing two completely new games for late 2009/2010... quite enough for a small company like AGEOD IMHO.
Let them get out Rise of Prussia and Vainglory of Nations and catch their breath and then you will surely hear more about NCP2

Cheers

Please, excuse me.
I realize I misunderstood the answer from Gray_Lensman, after I checked http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=15049, following the advise from Carnium.

Best regards,
GrosPaul.

Your impatience is understandable as we are all more or less frustrated by NCP for various reasons, gameplay, having or not a grand-campaign, more economy, more detailed combat report or even a tactical module and so on...

This said, the game still offers a challenge on big scenarios and keeps an interesting replayability.
