I have a prob having my scenerio show up.

I followed Primisprit's tut almost point for point while also checking out
other scenerios as a tutorial. I have "script.ini" "citiesVicksburg.inc" ,
"vicksburg.sct" and the new "localstrings_ACW" all in their respective folders.
I seemed too have named everything correctly in the setup/events Tab.

problem is when I start the game and hit F9 the game comes up in edit mode but my scenerio does'nt load!

I checked the files with other files and it seems all the files have been converted correctly.

any help would be appreciated.

Go to this directory...

ACW/Logs

and look at this file...

!Main log.txt

It should say where the errors are (sometimes you need to check the script log, found in... ACW/Scripts).

Errors are located with => at the beginning (do a search for the entry => to locate the errors, since there are thousands of lines to go through).

Don't worry, every new scenario gets many little errors that you have to figure out, but once you do it a few times you get the hang of it.

If you are still having difficulties post the !Main log.txt here and I can take a look at where it is directing you for errors.

If you send me your scenario files (xls and converted) via email to primasprit@gmx.de I will check it for you.

Thanx folks. I'll check the logs first and then send the files if I'm still having problems.

EDIT: yes I have it now and see the scenerio!!!
seems I took out some blockade numbers which the progy did'nt like.
It helps when you actually turn ON the error log too
but it gave me real time error messages with line numbers too.
now I gotta go and clean up the thing and finish it.
