Help decoding the TRN format for a little TOE Utility I'm writing
Posted: Fri Jul 13, 2007 9:22 pm
I'm trying to write a TOE viewing utility. It has basic ability right now reading in the TRN files (which I think is the right one to read) and displaying it in a tree format (see attached image) If I get it working ok, i'll release it to you guys.
I'd like have a little more useful info in it, but need some pointers on decoding the file format. Can anyone point me to what each entry means? I'm most interested in
-# men
-supply
-cohesion
-current orders (stance, destroy depot, etc.)
-current location
-current movement orders (where's it going?)
-what archetypical unit this unit derives from or some other way to find out what it's ratings are when it is perfect condition.
-for corps, what army it belongs to
