If you use Open Office:

Edit - Compare Documents

brings up a list of changes from another version, allowing you to accept/reject each change [see screenshot] :coeurs:

There are also Change Tracking options....

Yeah, I know: everybody but me knew about this :(

I had to go find a computer with Excel on it... :o

Excel in Office 2003 has a "Compare Side by side with..." that tiles two spreadsheets and synchonizes the scrolling between them. It doesn't highlight changes [at least I can't get it to], so you have to use your Mark 1 eyeball to see differences...

It also seems that there are 3rd party addins available [for a fee?] to do this.....

Have Office 2003 Italian version!
The feature here described by lodilefty is activable by the "Confrontare cartelle di lavoro affiancate" option.
In English it could be translated as "Compare worksheet side by side"!
I'm trying to activate and usint it now!

I verified Docs comparison works as reported!

You can compare two Excel docs or even two CSV docs!!!!!
...and, that is very interesting, you can compare an Excel doc with a CSV docs although syncronous scrolling seems not to work!
