It is quite beyond any mod's capability to add anything like that to the game, I'm afraid.

Can it be added?

This would be a very nice feature to have and one that would save a good deal of time. I currently play with a friend hotseat (saving and quitting each time, then reloading with the other save game) but it would mean things would work twice as fast if we could both be working on our orders on different computers at the same time. It seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to code. Any chance of this happening any time soon?

A more difficult but still interesting addition would be the possibility of dividing up the sides with each player taking command of a theater. You could have a six or eight player multi-player game with all sorts of arguments over distribution of resources, etc.

It is possible to do so already, but it requires manual work, i.e. that the non-hosting player is able to upload files to the AACW savegame directory on the hosting player's computer (or that the hosting player can retrieve them from the non-hosting player's computer).

There is currently no schedule for providing an automatic mechanism for this, though you are far from the only one who wants it (I know I do! :D ) and I am quite confident that we'll see support for something along these lines some day :)

That's quite possible already!
