I've got the 1.17 patch installed. Was curious if there was a MOD like the SFV that's compatible with 1.17, and provides the general theme/adjustments that Clovis was pushing for?

Not to my knowlege. Bigus and Clovis were the big modders, and they stopped before 1.17.

Rats! I feared so. thanks for the heads up. (was getting ready to launch into another full campaign, and was hoping to have a good MOD prior).

Probably a moot point, now that ACWII is released. I'll most likely purchase it.... (of course I will....) :-)
