I've been eagerly awaiting news of Clovis' work on SFV 2.0 but haven't seen anything here for a long while.
I did see the following at:

Clovis working on SFV 2. If you have save games you would like to share while playing singleplayer ,you can upload on his blog.
And I highly recommend trying RUS game with Fatal years mod, if you haven't already.

Good news.
Clovis writes Sept. 1,
"The CSA AI for Eastern theater has been written today. I feel confident to release a first very early beta version around September , 10 th."
In addition to many outstanding improvements, SVF uses more historical draft dates which initially caught my attention and got me to try SVF 1.0

Looks like more than the beta is out now.
http://moddercorner.com/2012/10/12/another-svf-2-0-version-on-the-another-website/Trying to figure out what "another website" means. Anyone out there given SFV 2.0 a go? Thoughts?

I have and I really like it though it's only fleshed out until 1862 still. I'm looking forward to playing this in PBEM

I started it yesterday, looks good so far. What happens after 1862?

He went silent after New Years. If anyone has the most recent version, I'd love to take a look at it just to see the work he's done

I'd be interested in seeing the latest version of this mod too. If anyone has it, could you please PM me?
