Foote changes sides (old bug?)

I must report that US Navy Admiral Foote is a traitor! I'm playing the South, and this turn I captured a Union river fleet (complete with ironclad). When I checked the land forces in the region, I noticed that I had captured Foote as well, and that he was now apparently willing to work for me. Better pay, I guess...

Circumstances that may have influenced the situation: I captured the region with land forces, but I had the nearest river location blocked with my own river fleet. Perhaps this interdiction prevented Foote from moving out of the region?

I seem to recall that this has happened and been reported before, but I couldn't find it with a search. In any case, this occurred with a fresh installation patched to the 1.12aRC5 beta patch. I can send the turn files if necessary.

Turn files are always good in cases like this, I think :)

Files are attached here.

This is a PBEM game and I am the non-hosting player (CSA, obviously).

Thanks Paul :) Might however need the hosting files to get the full picture, but I'll let people with more experience than me in debugging this kind of thing be the ones to call for it :)

So long as he can command my ironclads sailing down the mighty Mississippi I don't care.
