Having just read of St. Leger's premature withdrawl from the Mohawk valley partly due to false information recieved due to Arnold's subterfuge I thought a future enhancement might add to the FoW effect. Currently I think units are either spotted or not. It would be nice if their strength could sometimes be exaggerated (this may already be the case?) or even have units spotted that do not exist. This could also be made more likely if stacked with a leader with a "subterfuge" ability. Maybe this could be a possibility at the lowest detection level.

the subterfuges your speak about are along the lines of what we thought to add for our next game... and it won't be difficult to modify some of BOA leaders with these new abilities
