How to delete saved games?

Can anyone explain how to delete unwanted saved games in-game? I can see this ability mentioned in a few threads but can't find a thread that explains how to do it.

On the load game screen, just stay an instant on a savegame, and you will see a tooltip with an explanationabout how to delete a savegame file.
Something like : you can "press "del key" while your cursor is just pointing the name of a file in the savegame list".
But, perhaps you need to upgrade your game first, with the latest patch to have this functionnality ?
