Whats the deal with supply?

Whats up with this game regarding supply level in the provinces? I send armies into provinces and then they disappear. Fine... they have no supply. But how do I know this ahead of time? Its frustrating that an army is ok one turn and then all gone the next turn. I tried looking at the supply level for the province but it still seems random to me... sometimes my army disintegrates... sometimes it doesnt. The supply level for my units never changes. The militias always have 4/4 supply. Anyvthoughts?

You can pass the mouse over the region, the tooltip will indicates how much supplies chits the region produces. Each supply chit gives 5 food points and 2 ammos points to the units.
Check also the tooltip over the units, in the regiment panel (bottom center), it gives the stocks of each unit. Finally you can click on each company, the small NATO symbol to the bottom right, you see in the detail window the supply usage and stock of this element.

Forgot also, you have the supply gauge on the regiment panel.

And don't forget supply wagons either ;)

is the word not correct?

Note that countryside supply pills ;) only provide food, not ammo.

Mmmh, I think I will have to put the detailed supply rules rather soon on the forum.

The word is correct. Maybe washtoning was refering to the word being only letter different (and yet still sounding very similar too ) the word for feces.

I'm still very confused about BoA supply. And what the heck is a chit is this context? Is there available anywhere a detail FAQ on supply that includes depots, supply wagons and "forage"? For example, do depleted supply wagons "reload" with supply if say, parked at a depot? :p leure:

done.

Added section 7, supply and section 4, loyalty to the living rules thread.

when you see badly worded sentences, don't hesitate to correct me in the thread...

The living rules thread seems to have vanished?

More about supply:
1-How many points does each unit spend per turn? Is it per unit or per subunit?

2-are the points spent during the march or at the end of the turn?

Thanks

1. its per subunit, click on the NATO symbol (bottom right) to check the detailed usage and maximal stock possible for each company. The tooltip on the unit (the regiment panel, bottom center) should give you some 'agregated' infos on the supply values of the regiment as a whole.

2. at the begining of each turn.
