Just felt like stating what all of you already know. It's so refreshing to purchase a digital download with no DRM. No hassles whatsoever.

On top of that I was very worried that the game would not run well on my 1920x1200 laptop screen especially since I couldn't find any setting to adjust resolution. To my amazement the game detected the proper resolution and looks absolutely gorgeous. Strategy games really need to run at high resolutions and I am usually very disenchanted when forced to run at 1024x768 on this screen.

Finally, the navigation, scrolling and panning are really well done. Not what I was expecting from such a small company.

thats a rather big resolution I must say, you must have a beast of a laptop, especially if you don't experience any slow down with so many pixels displayed at the same time.

edit: since 1.04 you have the AGEsettings utility which allows for resolution change, but by default the game use the one of the desktop, as its generally the most natural if you choosed it for your other applications.

Yeah, it is a beast. It's an AMD x2 4800, Geforce 7800GTX and 2gb of ram. The best I was hoping was that the game would support 1600x1200. It was such a pleasant suprise to see the game take up the whole screen.

The funny thing is that I only need all that power for 3dsmax, as I only play strategy games.

wow, I would like to have such laptop. The best of both world it seems.

The game can run any resolution that your screen support, as the interface panels are anchored and/or centered relative to the 4 borders of the screen. They are not resized though, as this is a 2D artwork.

Please keep doing this for future releases. I was sooooo upset when ascaron decided to downgrade Port Royal 2 to 1024x768 (port royale 1 ran at 1280x1024) just because they didn't feel like rendering the interface at higher resolutions.
