Rules Questions

Hi all, I've played around with the game for a week and am loving it. :coeurs: I've now reread the manual to solidify the concepts in my admittedly leaky head.
:tournepas Now that I've reread it though I'm still confused about a couple of things.

#1 What does a depot do? The manual says that it supplies large amount of supplie? Does it provide more supplies than the Supply Unit that it takes to build it? Does it not run out? Or is it just an immobile supply unit?

#2 In a battle report? What are the hearts listed? Are they the number of hits that have been received in a given battle?

Thanks ... I'm sure there will be more to come.

#1 : Depots are indeed immobile and provide very large amount of supplies. They are mostly useful in cities you will built as a center of operation in a given area. When your nearby armies are depleted, send them to the city with depot and they will recover faster.
Also, depots are excellent in sieges, as they provide lot of supply reserves to the defenders...
We still have to do the option to recover supply wagons from destroyed depots (on our huge task list).

#2 : yes, the red hearts :coeurs: are the hits suffered.

1: supplies units don't generate supplies, they just have a fair stock of it, contrary to the depot.

2: move the mouse on the hearts to have the details of hits taken.

Thanks guys!

So the Depot gereates supply, while a supply unit only provides supply (with a limited quantity.

I think the manual should be edited under the section on Structures to better describe the Depot.

But it's probably somewhere on the HUGE list of to-do's. :sourcil:
