Because I love to nitpick this fabulous game.

A check on google maps shows that the lake in the Westminster Massachusetts province (which has no effect on the game) is in fact the Quabbin reservoir, which was built in 1939.

yes, we know that. Someone (perhaps you) made several time the remark on that in the computer.strategic newsgroup.

The problem is mostly that the artist who made the map is not available for now to do some retouching.

yes, because some people were mocking tha map because of that in the newsgroup. This is not trivial for everybody it seems
