Needed additions.

1) I don't think the problem is scrolling speed, but more like the "Delay" when you brush to the edge of the screen. That should be configurable.

2) Also the scrolling is "Jerky", it goes fast, but doesn't appear smooth - even after you scroll around and preload the stuff. Perhaps "Smoothing" it would get rid of some complaints.

3) Also, you reversed the drag and move, should be the other way around - when you click and drag it moves the wrong way, and it should use the left mouse button like most drag and move games.

By the way, the "next unit" buttons are fantastic and really help me think about my positions. It's a good way to make sure you are not making a stupid mistake. Simple thing, but really helps. Please keep the enhancements coming.

Now that I can get ships to carry my troops, the game is much easier. :rolleyes: I am really enjoying it.

Wanted to agree with the original poster, I have the same issue with scrolling he has. It's not at all something i can't live with, just one of those things that kind of gets under your skin after awhile :niark:

Also, EXCELLENT first effort on this game engine. I am playing the French and Indian War campaign as the English and although I started out well enough am getting trashed now :bonk: , which is what I like to see in a good wargame. Very challenging and fun to play.

BOA_Test says 402FPS.

Specifically, I am NOT referring to "Lag" in the game.. I am referring to the scroll issue pertaining to the following;

1) Dragging (holding right button) around is reversed, when I drag to the left, the screen moves to the right. It should be inverted. Also, this should be on the left button, not right.

2) There is a "Delay" when you swipe the mouse to the sides of the screen. This delay is preprogrammed, I can tell by the way it feels. There should be an option to turn off or at least control this delay.

3) Scrolling, even without lag, doesn't feel very smooth, perhaps a slider to control "Speed and Smoothness" could be added?

As for the game not liking hyperthreading, whats the solution? All of my processors are HT. Perhaps this is causing at least 1 of the issues above. ?
