Hi! BOA newbie here. I'm playing my first 1775 campaign as the Americans and am wondering what I should be doing with John Paul Jones' fleet and the ocean-going transports I have?

Send them to the French West Indies, to take up some supply or artillery units that will show up there, and transport them back to the US ...and avoid being caught by the Royal Navy The French contraband show up in Feb 1778. In the meanwhile, hide the transports in a well defended port (if you have any left )

Playing vs the AI I will sometimes try to use them to slip troops out of a beseiged port. Often it won't work, but there isn't a whole lot of use to be had from JPJones.
