1024x768, with an ancient NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200, No performance problems whatsoever, apart from nose-prints I tend to leave on the screen when reading tool-tips. I guess it's time to pay a visit to my optometrist again, or to buy a bigger monitor, which, nowadays, might actually be less expensive than a new pair of spectacles...

Hi Pocus,
1024*768 with a ATI Radeon 9600 on desktop
1024*768 mobile/1280*1024 in docking station on laptop with Intel 915GM/GMS on laptop.
No problems and game seems to handle switching in docked/undock mode with laptop with no major issues.
Cheers!

laptop 1280x800 (widescreen)
main pc 1680x1050 (widescreen lcd) + 1024x768 (second lcd)
second pc 1152x864 + 1152x864 (dual 19inch monitors)
yes i love dual monitor setups, i even have 2 x 17inch monitors at work
keeping the game resolution the same as the desktop is a great idea
(although the scrolling of the BoA map is sluggish at 1680x1050)
but also give the user the ability to choose the resolution to have the control, for the ultimate flexability have a setup menu with some common resolutions for the non-techies people and user defined settings for the techies.
dual monitor support would be nice but having control over the resolution is much more important

1024 for BoA and most games, 1152 for some game and very rarely 1280 (Monitor IIyama 17' and ATI Radeon 1250). Usually, my desktop is 1152 for my graphics works and other non-ludic activities..

Well, I am on a 21" CRT. So, I am not locked in to a native resolution like the LCD users. But I use 1024x768, because it generally makes reading text easier on my eyes. I am happy to stay with that.

Mark, can your CRT goes up to 2048?

Dear players,
You know there is a config utility to raise the res of the game? The interface is slightly invasive on 1024 in my opinion, for best result try 1152 or 1280...

Unable to raise any higher than this.

using the Nvidia dualview option i have tried playing some games at 2304x864 and 2560x1024 with the game area spread over both 19 inch monitors. btw the graphics card has two outputs
unfortunately having the middle of the game screen , the natural centre of attention being cut in half and spread over 2 monitors is no good when playing many games, its too distracting.
letting the player choose their own res, if required overriding the native resolution on LCDs, is the best idea. otherwise some text can be too small
and not assuming a 4:3 screen ratio (or a 16:10 ratio for widescreen displays)
BoA already has much more flexability than many games.

1680x1050(?), the native wide screen rez for the 20 inch monitors.
I'm debating dropping back down to a lower rez though. Scrolling at anything but the maximum zoom (in) level is pretty slow. Graphics card is pretty old though, a 9700 pro.

1024 x 768. I can't go higher for the moment, but I will soon enough buy a newer monitor but Im unsure of what size yet but most likely in the range of 17" or widescreen in about the same size.

I have to say I was in shock when the game loaded at this res. I thought it'd run fixed at 1024x768. Please support higher res' in future games, they will have more longevity as a result.

We will continue to support higher res, with even an improvement on this feature.

I see that 98% of the players use 1024 or 1280.
But don't worry, you and your alien friends from outerspace, I'll send you the graphical elements for all resolutions from 1024 to 2048 as we decided.
