Generals bad special traits...do they transfer

Wed Feb 06, 2008 12:05 am

I know if you use a 2nd General as an 'Aide de Camp' in a Division his Good traits are added to the stack.

My question is do the BAD traits also influence the stack (the one I am worried about is the 'Dispirted Leader' trait).

He has a -5 Max cohesion to the stack IF hes the MAIN Commander and -25% to Cohesion Recovery Rate (I take it he has to be the Main Commander here also).

Since he is not the MAIN Commander it looks like the trait doesn't transfer (just looking for a Vet to confirm this).

Also will this trait make a stack NOT be able to attack more often? It doesn't say so but I read in a old post that this was the case (might have been BEFORE the latest patch tho)?

IF these traits transfer, you should take ALL the Generals with this trait and execute them (or send them North!!).

Thanks as usual!!

If the trait specifies "if the commander" or such, then the trait only comes into effect when he is the leader of the stack, not just an auxiliary there to lend command points.

As I posted elsewhere:

If the trait says 'Leader;, it only affects the stack if the officer is 'in command' [highest rank with most seniority; usually first leader on the left in the unit display]

'Dispirited leader' is classified as 'Leader' application, so it only affects the stack if he is the leader....

Recruiting Trait

It's listed as "Leader" on the spreadsheet. Does that mean if I put three generals with this trait in say, New York, only the senior one will actually recruit?

Correct...send the other two to different cities.
