modpath.ini in the main folder tells the exe to use a secondary sub-folder for the files. Hence, Czsarai, since the exe needs the files themselves, copy /ACW into /Coming Fury Mod and overwrite the files with the files coming from the .zip as per instructions.

I agree, the instructions could have been done better but tis a wonderful mod :)

P.S. there's an ability file which doesn't overwrite. Possibly a new ability Clovis? How about that zollicofer's issue i've had? Fixed in next v?

Last Q: WHEN? :)

I just reinstalled again, and the Wisconsin problem persists. Does anyone else have this problem (no production), or is it just me. If someone would tell me what folder/folders affect this I will reapply them and see what happens. At least I can build troops, I will just consider Wisconsin cheapstates :niark:

I haven´t tried the mod, as I discovered it only a few days ago, so I am awaiting for the next version, and I wonder, is the limit number on divisions still on at 24 for CSA and 48 for Union?

I will rewrite the instruction.

Zollicoffer is rightly displayed in my new version.

When? I 'm struggling for time...

The problem comes from the fact I suppressed the VP value of Milwaukee. In the scenario file, do a research for the Racine region and change VP= 0 to VP =1.

Was it necessary to have a limit? wouldn´t be more realistic to limit it by manpower limitation?

You mean it is not possible not to have a limit? Maybe then to have the same limit for both sides? I mean, it doesn´t feel realistic to limit the number of divisions rather than manpower, does it?

I and my new opponent were thinking about using this great looking mod for our next game, but i've read that a new version should be released after the release of the Xmas Patch...so very soon...

If it's possible, I'd like to know if there's an approssimate date for the new version of the mod. Just to know if we have to wait for days or weeks...

Thanks and excellent work

If all is going well, at the end of the next week.If not, at the end of the month.

What I plan to add:

- a lousy but working random removal and return of 2 and 3 star leaders( simulating illness, death or voluntary departure)

- a limitation of field entrenchment in the first years. My readings on the subject ( essentially the 2 recent Hess books about field fortificaton in the Eastern theater from 1861 to 1864) have convinced me the best way to represent the paradox of armies able from the start to build massive fieldworks but relunctant to do so until the end of 1863) is to create sort of variable limitations by events: ie from 1861 to 1863 , entrenchment limit will vary by events between 3 to 6.

- a revision yet partial of the leader stats

- maybe a reintroduction of columbiad and Rodman

- some AI events to fortify Washington, Richmond, Petersburg, maybe Harper Ferry, Atlanta.

Thank you very much for your quick answers, and you job.

A couple of newbie questions: it will be possible to continue a "vannila" PBEM after installing the mod without do 2 separate installations of the game?

If not, it's possible to see the new version of the mod in a JSGME-compatible format?

If i install the currently aviable version today, do i have to start a new game to see the new features?

Thanks

Oh..sorry, i just found out how to use both version in the same installation, so ignore the first 2 questions.
I still like to know about the need to start a new game.

I guess yes. Events can affect a running game but I believe it will affect stability.

Not directly. Now, any event can be added to the vanilla game without much efforts ( the real and boring trick being to update the AACW string file

Anything related to the "autopromotion" of a general based on events which is not shown on log? (Reported finding a ** general without having promoted him) is this identifiable?

Hi Clovis,

with regards to -
a lousy but working random removal and return of 2 and 3 star leaders( simulating illness, death or voluntary departure)
, will this be optional or compulsory in game terms?

That's not what Pocus does. Clovis is making the mod. It is not official. Pocus has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Can I explain this to you another way? What are you having trouble with?
