Console Commands

Thu Sep 09, 2021 7:58 pm

I made a long time ago a detailed table describing all the ageod console commands ,but this description was in Russian.
And so I was asked to do it in English - and I did it in the form of Google Sheets.

I also invite everyone who can help explain the use of commands in specific examples. For example, I could not find a description of how to use the AIFlush command.

ps: I also remind you of the link on the topic of discussing my table of all settings for AGEOD games - go over

Hi,

AIFlush : If On : after AI calcs, engine will exit ongoing game and go back to main menu.
FullDebug setting value must be 1.

Regards

Thank you for adding your description to the table. But what is such a command useful for?

AiFlush as well as commands like RndMapJump or Speedhosting, are only useful in engine development tasks.
There is no usage for players or modders.

I remember that RndMapJump was used to test the speed of accessing the cached regions graphics at some point. Pretty unused now. For the other, I'm not too sure.

A doubt with RevealTI 0

Should I view all the regions of the map highlighted? Doesn't seem to be the case, or I am doing something wrong?

You shoud see all regions (if 0) or specific region (Rgn UID).
Revealed region has to be TERRA INCOGNITA (TI) tagged i.e with exploration = 0 parameter value.

As far as I know exploration parameter is only used in VGN.

Thanks.

Well, then it is normal that I did not work, I was trying in ECW.

A pity. So is there no way to do it?

I wanted to create better looking minimap and strategic map.

Regions graphics are .bmp format. (ECW/Graphics/Regions)
You can do a batch treatement with Infraview (free soft).
You should be able to adjust contrast, brightness and so on.

Once you get your expected settings, one batch conversion will handle all the regions graphics

But I cannot create the map with the pieces of the puzzle with a third party software, can I?

What I wanted to do in the game, is to zoom out, pic several parts of the map and the joint them to create the full map. Then reduce to create a minimap and a strategic map, that for some reason are very low resolution pics in this game.

But as you can see not all the regions are highlighted, and so the original question.

I do not know how to re-create the full map.
My suggestion will be to contact the game designer and ask him for design full map.
From it you will be able to generate the minimap and the strategic map

I tried to make a complete RUS map, from more than 2000 regions, like a puzzle, using the information in the Exmap program, but I didn't have the patience. although the work is almost complete.

OK, thanks.

Will try, though Miguel is gone from here and Matrix forum.

But he has a webpage for HQs with contact information.

And you don't need to study the whole program. Load the GameData \ Regions folder into Exmap and insert a blank white sheet instead of the map.bmp file.
When you run Exmap you will see a large map showing all regions, but no picture.
Now you need to open a graphics editor (for example paint.net) and an empty map.bmp file in parallel, and checking in Exmap with the region number and their relative position, start putting together the pictures of the regions like a puzzle. At the same time, periodically loading the resulting map.bmp image into the Exmap program and comparing the location of the images of the regions with the contour of their boundaries.

Or find the original ECW map.bmp file. As Pocus found them for some older games.
