Civil War 2 is a sandbox, I would like to see this freedom applied to other periods

disclaimer* I'm not trying to speak for the entire community only trying to say what I would love to see

When I compare Civil War 1 and 2 to other AGEOD titles I feel like the reason I keep coming back to this title more then other AGEOD games is because of the freedom you give me.

In Civil War 1 and 2 I get total control of what units I get to produce, and I feel like I have a lot of options for how I want to spend my money and manpower. I could choose to build an exotic army where i have total control over its composition. I don't select a box and then get some generic reinforcement. I get to build whatever I want. I would describe it as leaning more towards a sandbox(with a historical slant) style of play.

What I would love to see is this same system applied say the Napoleonic wars, I would love choose to lead Austria, or Russia, or France and then have TOTAL control over production of units, and be able to build Armies as I see fit and have them composed specifically of units from a vast selection of units similar to the wonderful selection of units in Civil War 2. I Imagine I have the option of going through a great selection of units and then producing a little force with Tyrolean Jagers, The Archduke Karl Legion, and some Uhlans and then giving its command to Radetzky(sp?), then declaring war on Prussia(because I choose to because its a sandbox right?) and then sending my little elusive raiding force which I build because I chose those units(not because you prebuilt them for me and then railroaded me down a historical path) to cause havoc(and probably die when it fails to evade a big stack lol).

My point is I want control control control, and you gave me a lot of control in Civil War 2 and I love it, now consider trying to apply the same system to other historical periods like the Napoleonic Wars
Thanks for listening!

one other little detail I thought of: You give me a lot of great units to choose from to produce in Civil War 2, but then you also just "give" me special historical units that add flavor, like say in Civil War 2 when the Orphan Brigade arrives. So in the above rather limited example the Archduke Karl Legion would not be in the list of produceable units. It would be a a special flavor unit that you just give to me at the appropriate time when it was raised, using the same system that gives me the Orphan Brigade in Civil War 2.

A Grand Strategic Napoleonic game based on the CW2 system would be fantastic. Yes please....

My first thought was that the scope is too great, but really the scope of Civil War 1&2 is vast
