Uniti composition and designation

Tue Sep 24, 2013 9:16 am

Any chance to change the unit/force names when e.g. a commander is assigned? It was a common 'issue' with AACW, which was fixed. e.g. Units that are raised in a certain region, i.e. partisans, raiders, could they not be named after the region/place they were raised? Also bumped into the following - see screenshot.

I guess it's WAD, because the Inf.Bde. lost all its Inf. components during a battle.

The icon of a bde changes depending on the main unit (this also happened in ACW I). As the NVA/6th is mostly cavalry at this time, it gets a cavalry icon. As it gets replacements, it should switch back to a infantry icon (let us know if it doesn't).

Not sure what you mean by the name change. You can always change the name of a stack (not army). I have noticed that the stack sometimes keeps the previous name when stuff is added (sometimes not).
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Aye, Jim. ALT+<left-click>, not really a big deal. What I meant was, i.e. a stack with a general gets some units dragged/dropped in; sometime it is named 2. Union Force (just an example) rather than <General's Name> Force. Anyway, not a biggie.
