MP games? How are they?

I found with Forge of Freedom their were several online bugs.
However does this game support TCP/IP games?
I would assume so............any comments on your MP games?
Can you have more than one player playing a side. ie theater commanders?

Right now the game is email only. That may change tho, I hear.
