Tue Sep 18, 2012 3:25 am

So how will this go on the 19th? Will we get an email with the patch and activation code? Or will we have to do something else?

I guess it is just a patch to make our 0.99m to 1.00 ver., remember some posts mentione all patches after 1.0 released will be compatible with po version(0.99m)

PS: don't know why downloading my setup file speed is so slow ,anybody have same problem ?try 3 or 4 times, all are 20K/s :bonk:
yesterday finally got a 120K+/s and installed my po version :w00t:

Yes, everybody who pre-ordered will get a mail with the "unlock patch". We will also announce publicly that, so you can contact us if you don't get the mail.

I have seen crows flying low towards the left this morning...that is really a bad omen...that means AGEOD webpage can be unavailable because of too much traffic tomorrow!!!! :(

Midnight in Europe would be fine with those of us in the states :)

Yes, but that would be cheating, as you would receive it 5-9h before deadline :neener:

In fact it all depends on a few tests we are running now, plus the upload speed on server, and then how fast the automated email service sending you the unlock patch works...my guess would be somewhere around noon tomorrow

How much more work has been done since the release of the preorder version? Can we expect a large unlock patch or just a patch that unlocks the "next turn" button?

No, the patch will be large because the Beta team worked well and there are quite a few nice additions. In fact, you'll most likely receive a download link to the patch (which in addition is better as some AV programs might refuse access to a patch sent by mail)

sounds like it is a good idea to do that all-day visit to my son tomorrow so I miss the release and the worst traffic jams. after that I can play as much I like until the 27th when Im heading out to work again.

It's the 20th at noon EST and haven't seen anything. What's the story?

Hi! Didn't want to start a own thread for my rather stupid question. If my personal Empress gives free the budget, I'd like to crush some rebells this weekend. If release is tomorrow, can I still preorder? I can't find the link, blind chicken, me. Or did I miss the opportunity?
