Second PBEM tournament

Tue Apr 28, 2009 2:45 pm

--This is no longer a poll, it's sign-up thread. So if you're interested please post here and include your e-mail. Optionally you can PM me with it. --

*We're trying for 32 per A-M who is prize coordinator. Winner of this tournament "gets the game of their choice." PM Aphrodite Mae with questions. :)

Since the rabbit's out of the hat, or the cat's out of the bag, or whatever, the game's designer, Phil Thib, will be the mystery participant.

Just as an added incentive there are rumors that we may be able to reward the winner of the next tournament with Ageod's newest game, or perhaps a game of their choosing. I'll keep people posted.

Count me in on a 2nd tourny, especially since I missed the first one.

Ok, I guess we can make it official now. We've already got 16 people saying they'll do it. Once we get 16 names we can start. I'll also need your e-mails either here or in a pm to make you official.

Let's make it BIGGER!

Fri May 08, 2009 5:25 pm

I suggest we wait, Daxil! I'm thinking that a lot more people are going to want to participate! In fact, I'll betcha that we'll end up filling another roster of 16, and still have to turn people away! :)

We still have plenty of spots open. The poll is just that, not people signed up. Only four official so far. And we need to go over. Last time there were one or two dropouts, so we need backups.

Ok, we'll tentatively open it up to 32. What we'll do is wait to get the 16 and then give it a week to get at or near 32. If we're not close then we'll just start with the normal 16.

I would be interested to let someone stomp a mudhole in me. But next week is out of the question. 2 weeks from now looks more promising.

I'd like to sign up, but I may be out of touch around the end of the month since I'll be moving. Not sure how long my internet access will be down.

I'm in too!

Okay, I'll sign up as the resident cannon fodder. :gardavou:
My e-mail has already been sent by pm.

I've never done a PBEM game before [or any online game, for that matter], so some guidance is needed here.
I prefer Union, but maybe like tourney chess, it's whatever the AACW gods assign me.

Looking forward to it, hope we get to 32.

Hi guys! I'm interested to play with you, in the Dixie side, if possible. My mail is: jackintheboxe@alice.it

I'm working hard in this period, but I hope to be able to play with you :w00t:
Do you think I need a quick internet connection to play with you?
