T. ENTERS HIS COMPUTER ROOM. THE BLINDS ARE CLOSED; THE DOOR IS CLOSED. T IS ALONE AT HOME. HE LOOKS AROUND THE SMALL ROOM, IT HAS LOST ITS NEATNESS. JUST STACKS OF DISCARDED COMPUTER GAMES FORMING SMALL COLORFUL PILES AROUND THE CHAIRS. T TAKES A CLEAN CLOTH AND PUTS IT ON A TABLE. HE OPENS A SMALL HIDDEN DRAWER AND REMOVER HIS FATHER'S LUGER PISTOL BROUGHT HOME FROM WWII. HE WORKS THE MECHANISM AND TURNS THE SAFETY OFF. .......... :p leure: :coeurs: El Fin? :(

Poor Tag!

Wed Nov 26, 2008 7:24 pm

I have a much better idea, Tag! Why don't I give you a smooch instead, and then we can go out and find a nice place to have a little picnic with wine and cheese! And then, I'll sit and listen to whatever you want to talk about, ok?!

Here's the smooch! :coeurs:

Now! Put that silly old gun away, and tell me: what kind of wine would you recommend?

... It depends on what you plan to cook :D :D

Hopefully, my girlfriend does not come here to read my silly posts :mdr:

After tagwyn's post and after Johnnie's less-than-ideal reply to it, I have no choice but to close this thread for now. Both posts are quite inappropriate for these forums, even if they purely are meant in jest, and even that is just the best case scenario from where I'm standing :bonk:

Tagwyn, please read the PM I have just sent you at your next convenience.

OK, having been assured that it was meant purely in jest, I'm re-opening the thread :)

I consider the jokes to be in really bad taste, and see no reason to derail this thread further with opening for discussion about that; to see why, make a read of this NY Times article :bonk:

Sorry guys. I took tagwyn's post as a joke and thought I'd join in. I did not mean to be offensive or insensitive in any manner.

The sign of an 'A' Team

Thu Nov 27, 2008 12:05 am

One of the signs of an excellent team is the ability to continue to work in a positive manner when things aren't going well.

I am impressed with the maturity and professionalism of AGEOD.

Looking forward to the manual and an excellent game...

Rafiki,
Nice to see the thread reopened...In such a case I think that the thing to do would rather have been to censor/delete the post rather than closing the thread because of derailment - I mean the thread subject is ok and still open to debate. ;)

Actually I think that Rafiki was not sure whether Tagwyn made a joke or rather announced to commit suicide. If the latter would have been the case, comments like that of Johnnie could have been pushing him towards killing himself. To prevent more of such comments, Rafiki closed the thread until Tagwyn had responded to his PM.

From my view, perfect reaction from Rafiki.

I did understand that, but the issue was with the "suicide" post & reply, not the thread...
