Rebs in Oswego, NY, 1.11d

Sat Oct 04, 2008 11:47 pm

I have Rebs in Oswego, NY in May '61. Is this right? Pristine reinstall of 1.11d.

I've noticed that a few times recently - Csa generals arriving in upstate New York, I just started a game as CSA for 1st time in ages and US generals were appearing in Pamlico Sound. In both cases they seem to make it back home.

With the last patch I also had a CSA leader pop up in upstate New York and I believe that it was the same general as in you case.

Before applying patch 1.11d, I uninstalled AACW, deleted all remnants of AACW that didn't go away with the uninstall, rebooted, reinstalled AACW from the CD, then applied patch 1.11d. Pristine as it gets, methinks!

He used to appear in Richmond in Late April 61

Thanks, Coregonas, for bailing me out. I neglected to get the name, but that seems to be his portrait.

I'm not getting this result. He shows in Richmond as always ...

I quit that game, deleted the saves, started over, and he no longer shows up in NY. But now my battle sounds don't play (although the music still does), so I'll have to poke around on that.

That is my conclusion too. So I did another uninstall/reinstall. All seems fine now. Electronic gremlins.

Where is this 1.11d?

I am barely in 1862 and me thinks something is not right in the die rolls. I had a CSA Corps 25k, In Command range well supplied go against an opposing force of 5k. I had full assault and lost all 3 battles in a non VP Town in Ky.

Also does that patch clear some of those issues up? Ignorant dice rolls
