game will not install on windows xp

My game will not install. I am running Windows XP. To the best of my knowledge, I have Directx 9 installed. I put the cd in the drive, click on the setup file on the cd directory, click "open" and nothing happens.

Thanks for the reply. I've submitted a ticket to cdvus.com to see if I can get this resolved. I'm really anxious to play this game, so I hope it works out.

I am new here. I just bought this game and looked forward to playing it with my son. I have tried four times to install it so far, with the same exact result each time -- it appears to install fine until it gets to the very last part where the bar is 100% done and it should say 'OK' or 'complete', but it never finishes no matter how long we wait. I uninstall it and reboot the PC to try again, but I get the same result, even if I choose a different installation location.

I tried to run the game anyway, but it just brought up a window for about two seconds and froze. I have Windows XP SP3.
