PBEM - Marcus (USA) vs Widell (CSA)

Fri Nov 30, 2007 3:19 pm

No Marcus allowed beyond this point....

First PBEM for both of us, plus we are both newbies with this great game. This is a slow game due to real life issues, and we are both noobs so expect some good laughs along the way.

The format of this AAR will be PDF, and your feedback is most welcome.

1.7 MB PDF here

Updated to end of 1861, epic development in the east, specially in the winter months. Confused in the west.... Enjoy!

Very glad to see a PBEM AAR! I did one, and I was an opponent of another one, but neither went past early '63. I hope you guys finish!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I fried my motherboard and for some reason it took some time to get a replacement etc. Anyhow, we are back in business and here's an update to take the game to the end of 1861.

The update is still missing some political events and all the generals don't have the details updated in the Appendix just yet, but I'll try to catch up with the backlog as we go along. Comments and feedback is much appreciated.

Another update. Game is progressing slowly as we are both bogged down in RL work

Anyhow, got the theaters updated to reflect the situation at the end of 1861. Is working on the plans for 1862 and some potential spring offensives as well as adding the Class 62 generals to the appendices. More to come as I add it.

On hold....maybe even dead?

Sat Mar 22, 2008 10:44 pm

:p leure: It seems Marcus has fled into the land of RL. Haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks, so this AAR is now officially on hold.... In case my opponent will surface again, it will of course be taken up again should he want to....

Sorry about this, but it's out of my control for now...
