[TEAW & CW2] Player looking for PBEM

Tue Feb 10, 2015 1:28 pm

Hey guys

I'm additionally looking for a PBEM with one or multiple guys, whichever side.

Also looking for CW2 Pbems.

Since it's just me looking, I thought I'd make a new thread for it. Options are negotioable.

I'd like to use Dropbox instead of email though.

Played quite a few PBEM's and can do a couple of turns a day.

Let me know.

(Byrd/stabbed24 on steam)

Contacted you on steam. I might be able to do some turns later tonight. I'll make a Dropbox folder.

Out of interest, why are you only interested in people playing with the Steam version? It shouldn't make a difference , especially since the host version is all that matters.

BTW, I am interested in playing but only as the EE, as the other two sides take up too much time. I'd be surprised if you could keep up with more than 1 turn a day either as the CP or WE once nations like Italy & the Ottomans come onboard.

I've played across versions many a PBEM and all I know (while I do not understand the whys and whatnots) 9 times out of 10 the game had to be put down due to several odd gamebreaking bugs I have never! encountered during same-version gameplay. Putting 50 odd turns into a couple of PBEMs, just to see it end because someone notices after the backups are no good anymore just wasn't fun. I don't know, slightly supersticious and un-techy, but I got burned once too often.

Controlling Ottomans and Italians comes down to a couple of additional minutes. Considering that I play both Entente Powers in two seperate PBEMs at the moment, I think I got down =)

You'd be surprised. ;)

If you wanna play EE, that's fine. I think I know someone who'd gladly play the WE. And I finally get to play the CP!

Let me know if you wanna play.

I'm still interested in playing, but I do have the non-Steam version. So if it a a deal breaker then let me know.

If both of you are willing, PJ could play EE, Gferreq the WE. I'll open a Dropbox Folder if you guys send me your emails via PM.

I'm going to have to bow out of this one, as I'm already involved in another TEAW campaign. Sorry guys.

Could do with another PBEM game if anyone is interested (2 or 3 man game). I'll play either CP or both EE's. I don't care.

Proposal (Game by Dropbox)

Settings:

- Delayed Commitment: None
- Foreign Entry: normal
- Historical Attrition: historical
- Automated Replacements: no
- Battle Planner: off
- Activation Rule: Veteran
- Randomized Generals: no
- Naval Boxes: standard
- Extended Pool: no
- Easy Suppy: off
- Traffic Penalty: Medium.

AI options should be irrelevant.

House Rules:

- Hindenburg must be triggered by the EE player.
- No enemy troops behind enemy lines without a general (ahead of own troops in any given theater)
- Japanese may not leave east Asia.

Actually, I might be interested in another game (the other one has settled down a bit, and is taking less time than I thought). It would have to be the EE only though.

Regarding the settings, I have no real problems with those except for the activation rule where I would definitely prefer the veteran / hidden option, and I'm wary of setting the traffic penalty to max as well (could have it on the 3rd from left option though).

I'm fine with the house rules as well.

We'd need a player for WE or CP then.

Veteran option is fine, traffic penalty to medium sounds like compromise too.
