1. The settings look fine except for the "6" for "strategic"....there really isn't any evidence to put him any higher than an average "3."

2. "Artillerist" is perfect...He is pretty famous for his work commanding artillery at 2nd Bull Run, Antietam, and Vicksburg.

I would propose 4|2|3 with Cavalryman and Artillerist. After his exchange following the surrender at Vicksburg he was a cavalry commander until he took charge of a corps at Atlanta. At Nashville he repulsed the attacks on his front and had the only corps to retreat in good order. He commanded the rear guard on the retreat and probably saved the army from total destruction.
