Still a nice game

Wed Dec 11, 2019 9:18 am

Well I just spent a couple of hours last night playing this and Birth of America.

They run smoothly on my low spec Win 10 laptop.

Hard for me to play either knowing I have the "2" version. But, yes, I really enjoyed it's flavor. The old wood design and just everything,

I recently got back into it, with the 1.16a patch and the old Struggle For a Vast Future mod by Clovis. The AI plays much, much better with his mod, the early war especially is more accurate, and the brigade sizes and composition are more accurate. It was always my favorite, and now I remember why.
