Playing my first real game as Union, by the end of 1863 I had captured the entirety of Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, most of Georgia (including Atlanta/Augusta/Savannah), the Atlantic coast of Florida, all of Mississippi, Mobile and North Alabama.
So when February came around and New Orleans, Charleston, and Wilmington fell in the same month, I figured "good game".
But nope.
So what the hell else am I supposed to conquer? I get the National Morale threshold but I'm at 174 NM with nothing left to conquer. The only State capitals left are Montgomery, Tallahassee, and Houston. There are no respectable Confederate armies left on the field (maybe 15k under Polk outside of Baton Rouge, that's literally it). And to top things off, the victory threshold went from 185 to 225 for some inexplicable reason.
How am I supposed to win? It's not like I've suffered a large number of NM losing battles. Or any really. I lost maybe 8 NM reducing Fort Monroe and Lee's starving army inside after taking Richmond, but I got most of that back when his army finally collapsed and I wiped it out. Beyond that I can't remember losing any other significant battle.
So, I mean....what? Did I miss something?
