National Tribune Free Online

Hi guys,

I thought I'd throw out there that the National Tribune, a newspaper written by and for Union veterans after the Civil War, is available for free at the Library of Congress web site. Use the dropdown menu at the left to scroll through various years. The newspaper contains a ton of reminiscences of battles by the veterans, especially from September 1881 on.

I ran across this site while working on my Siege of Petersburg web page and I'm slowly going through, transcribing, and posting the Siege of Petersburg related materials.
