Another Battle Planner Question

Wed Nov 18, 2015 2:30 am

When choosing your battle plans, the top part of the screen will show either posture or stance, let's say it is orange for the player and red for the enemy. When the battle is fought, the top of the screen will show blue for the player and orange for the enemy. Why?

Does this mean that the player was in blue/orange and the enemy in orange/red?

It would seem to make more sense that the posture is shown (first color) only because the general may not be able to know how much the opponent is committing (all out attack or stand offensive) or at least show both colors on the Battle Planner Screen. Trying to pick a good plan is tough if you don't remember exactly what your forces posture was, much less how you read the opponent's posture. Shouldn't this be changed?

While choosing battleplan, it will show posture of the stacks that initiated combat. In battlereport it will show posture of the top ranking stack that was involved in combat (MTSG included). Most of the time, they have same posture, but sometimes they don't.

Thanks, Ace. That means in the example above, which did happen, the top ranking stack that was involved in the combat was on Defensive Posture, but still MTSG.
