War Games Enhance Working Memory

Here I thought that I was just doing something that I enjoyed, not that it was good for me!! Unfortunately, Total War got the product plug.

She also thinks video games that involve planning and strategy, such as those from the Total War series, may train working memory because the player is keeping track of past actions and planning for the future.

But it is good that it is not the common news about how bad GTA is for children... :bonk:

So, the next time your boss catches you playing some AGEOD game at work, you can say "I am training to be better at work!!" :wacko:

Wow... And she got money to pull that one out?
No, but seriously, the interesting part is going to be to see what this study will be used for, and how. I'm gonna get myself some pop corn. :rolleyes:

EDIT: Actually, thinking about it, I'm sure that study is not so much of an empty bag as it looks like, but rather that the only part that retained the media attention was the obvious seller. Or so I hope.
