New siege effects maybe too powerful

Fri Jan 26, 2018 11:20 am

Some forts seem to surrender in 2 months if they have really bad luck.

First siege of Landau took 3 months, 4th took 2 months, so nothing extraordinary ?

Exactly the reasons for the unpredictable sieges. Especially with undisciplined troops or less trustworthy captains, the lengths of sieges could vary considerably.

Btw, the chances of early siege ends are greatly reduced with elite troops in the fort (though that's a high opportunity cost as you are removing them from the field).
