Fri Dec 11, 2015 11:46 am

In an assault on Gibraltar it has been destroyed both the fort Level 3 andy city level 1

I would like to know if it is a bug, or if it can be destroyed cities now Level 1.

It should not happen, razing cities is in theory not possible in this game. Also check if the fort was destroyed/damaged

The flag and the number and name of the city appear, but there is no structure there. If there wasn't structure the flag would be the small one (like Ronda o Jerez), isn't it?

The harbor is still there since its presence has mostly to do with the geography of the region than something man-made. You can't destroy the geography, so you can't destroy the harbor, which means there is still a structure--in game terms--there and thus the flag still flies over the harbor.

Well, what I'm trying to say is that there are structures there that don't appear in the map. Look to this screenshot:

Where is the fort and the arsenal in the map graphics? And if I give the order to my troops to enter into the fort they dont't do anything.

And the city and a depot have also been destroyed, look what did have Gibraltar at the bigining of January Campaing (the one I'm playing)

They do. They have a village burn chance which might create the issue....but is a level 1 city a village ? That's the question.... if so, that the reason...and explain the weirdness..for me, villages = BOA stockades and nothing else...If so, we'll fix the matter easily

I think there was something like this happening on AJE too. Level one cities could get destroyed after assault and the city icons disappeared.
I think they fix it making those cities level 2, which are not affected by scorched earth rule. They can lose their walls, but never be completely destroyed.

Regards!

Yes, I am aware of this, but that creates other issues. But it is probably the only way for now (or to reduce to nil the scorch earth rules on "villages"!)

scorch rule works by level yes, so if they can scorch a level 1 village/city and Gibraltar is a level 1 village/city, then it will be scorched. Nothing changed on that since years.

as for fort graphic missing, it will be added in the upcoming patch (today!)
