The only time I have ever seen this message is when you did not provide administrative rights. Occasionally with a new install if you did not install as an administrator. But upon start up very commonly.

Hi Shri,

Haven't experienced it for WON, but try right clicking the .exe and running as Administrator.

With CW2 I still get this crash occasionally, but after 2-3 retries running as Administrator, it will run eventually.

Ok, thanks guys, i ran it twice/thrice using administrator, now it finally ran.

I have been using this game for the past 4 years, even playing a PBEM currently, it crashed 3 days ago and then kept crashing. That's why the panic button.

I just uninstalled WON and downloaded what I need to reinstall:
v1.00.zip
v1.02.zip
v1.03beta
342RUSHussars.mdl
NAP Events-1.zip (fix for Napoli event issue)
agsu's fix for the Continental Blockade

Maybe a fresh install might resolve your issues.
