If you try again the turn, does it crashes again? If yes, then I would like the saved game.

Halo Pocus,

In my case, yes… it crashes again after I restart the turn and also after reload the game from the launching application.

If it is the save game do I have to restart my campaign (after reaching the turn 45) ?

I own this game for several weeks now, and I never succeed go beyond the first year of a campaign scenario.

Bit by bit I lose my courage and my desire to continue to play WoN.

So what is the solution? Continue to pass the turns till the game crashed and then restart my champagne?

Beforehand, thank you for your help.

Please provide me with the saved game, I need to understand what is your bug? Many players and betas can play without a single crash, so there is nothing absolute here.

Thx for your swift reaction Pocus.

I already delete my safe file... sorry for that. But, if it's happen again, I gone send you the file in cause.

A question, can we attached a ORD file in your message box?

I must say that from time time, the game crashed also from the the "mainlog.txt", but a reload and the game going further.

Thanks again for your help and till later,

Zopok

You can attach any file in the forum, provided you zip them first.

You might have 2 possible issues, not mutually exclusive ;)
A problem with the engine and the video driver, in this case the Slitherine Helpdesk will help you.
A problem with a game play bug or buggy historical event, in this case with your saved game we will check the issue and fix it.

That's abnormal to have any error message in the game, if you get one, we can help you one way or another. Some people are indeed bothered by bugs, some never see one.

Hi Zopok,

From your saved game, I see you are two beta patches late:

=> NGC 1.02 Public Beta, Dec21-2015 <=

Can you please update? If you get a new crash, I only need backup1 as a zip and the mainlog.txt (don't restart game if you crash)

I am sorry Pocus but, I DL the “public beta patch 1.02, jan13” from the follow forum thread (http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?41773-gt-Public-beta-patch-1-02-January-13th-version-lt), and now that I launch the installation from “Full installation” (C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Wars of Napoleon), the install process freeze…

I feel myself as a rookie...

Thil later,

Zopok

You are better then to install anew the game, then install the very latest beta patch, we are releasing one just now!
