Game keeps crashing and it look as though the save file is then corrupted as it crashes when you try to load. Been having major issues since I bought the game and its extremely frustrating. Seems to be a fairly common thing to with other players. Ive been searching through the responses but nothing there seems to provide a solution. I also see mention of a main log file, but I cant seem to find where it would be located. Note I have the latest beta and this was turn 2 or 3 of a new game.

me too - with new patch-3/11 - i crashed and lost Napoleon and his command (all units with him). in the past for me crashes were no problem (few and everything came back for turn) but now the crash was worse. this is along with the early appearance of france spain. im going to continue to recreate situations and try to send files.

That's what the mainlog says indeed, the saved file has been corrupted. Try restarting. If it happens again, that's probably an hardware issue. You can try installing the game in another directory, it might helps.
