How to Use Medical Leaders and Medical Units

I just started the January 1, 1807 turn as France and I received Larrey with the Field Hospital Unit in Paris and Desegenettes with the Grand Army Field Hospital Unit attached to Napoleon. Since there is no advantage to keep the Medical Leader with the Field Hospital Medical Unit, I thought I would assign one of the Medical Leaders to Murat's Reserve Cavalry Corps. My thinking is the leader will provide the same benefits as the Field Hospital Unit, but it will move at a faster speed.

Is my thinking correct on this, or are there other suggestions to use these leaders and units? Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

As both leader and Field Hospital have the same ability, you can split the simple combined unit and use them separetely.
Not sure it was the designer intention but it will work.

Medical abi units are usually included in corps stacks as Army stack does not need cohesion bonus, it is not involved in battles or at least should not be.
